MOSCOW, 11 March (BelTA) – The trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Russia has been positively developing, Russian President Vladimir Putin said as he met with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko in Moscow on 11 March, BelTA has learned.
“Last year the bilateral trade soared by more than 34%,” Vladimir Putin said.
In his words, the situation is developing positively. However, there are still some problems associated with the recent events, the Russian president stated. I mean restrictions, sanctions and so on,” he explained.
