NOVOSIBIRSK, 27 September (BelTA) – Belarus is ready to supply a wide range of equipment to Siberia, Belarus’ Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov said as he met with Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy in the Siberian Federal District Sergei Menyailo on 27 September, BelTA has learned.
In January-July 2017 the trade between Belarus an the Siberian Federal District totaled almost $600 million to increase 1.7 times as against the same period last year. “We can cooperate on the entire range of areas, including the supplies of a variety of equipment,” Andrei Kobyakov said.
Belarusian companies can offer modern utilities and road equipment the Siberian regions need. The Belarusian BelAZ has established cooperation with the electric motors manufacturer OOO Sibelektroprivod which products are used to manufacture BelAZ trucks. “Thanks to the fact that we produce competitive products, we keep our positions on the markets of the Russian Federation and the CIS and also advance to new markets of Indonesia and India,” the prime minister said.
Belarus is also ready to expand cooperation with the Siberian Federal District in the agricultural sector. Belarusian specialists can offer their services in the construction of dairy farms.
Andrei Kobyakov invited Sergei Menyailo to visit Belarus on an official visit.
