CHISINAU, 3 October (BelTA) - Belarus is ready to share with Moldova its experience in the construction of roads and infrastructure, Belarusian Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov told reporters when summing up the results of the official visit to Moldova, BelTA has learned.
“Speaking about the prospects of cooperation, we are primarily interested in organizing the joint processing of Moldovan fruits and vegetables in Belarus which can be supplied to the Eurasian Economic Union. Our colleagues may also be interested in our experience in the field of the construction of roads and infrastructure, dairy farms and other agricultural facilities,” Andrei Kobyakov said.
He noted that two landmark events were held during the visit: the Belarusian-Moldovan Economic Forum and the meeting of the Belarusian-Moldovan intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation. We place special hopes on the work of this commission. I believe that the commission should become an effective tool for fast removal of problems in our interaction and for the development of promising areas of bilateral cooperation,” the Belarusian Prime Minister said.
According to him, Belarus and Moldova have a big potential of interregional cooperation. The governments of the countries stand ready to assist the development of twin-town relations.
