Belarus’ productive, export capacities showcased in Mozambique

MINSK, 31 August (BelTA) – Director of the Foreign Economic Activity Department at the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Roman Sobolev held a presentation of Belarus’ productive and export potential at the Mozambique International Trade Show FACIM 2017, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian ministry.

Taking part in the event were representatives of the Mozambique government bodies and businessmen.

Roman Sobolev also met with Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Mozambique Ragendra Sousa. The meeting was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Republic of South Africa Andrei Molchan. The parties discussed bilateral trade and joint commercial project prospects.

A meeting was held with representatives of the Department for Europe and America of the Mozambique Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation. The parties talked over the bilateral agenda and the possibility of holding the second meeting of the joint intergovernmental commission in Maputo in 2018.

The Belarusian delegation also held talks with members of the Federation of Business Associations of Mozambique. Businessmen of the two countries considered ways of establishing economic ties.
