MINSK, 23 December (BelTA) - Belarus has produced a pilot series of Sputnik V and Sputnik Light full-cycle vaccines, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.
“Belmedpreparaty company has completed an important stage of a joint Belarusian-Russian project - full-cycle production of Sputnik V vaccine. On 22 December the Belarusian enterprise produced the first validation series of Sputnik V and Sputnik Light,” said the press service.
This batch is scheduled to be sent to the Gamaleya Institute in Russia for quality control on 23 December. “These samples will be used to study the stability of the vaccine during storage,” the press service said.
