MINSK, 25 March (BelTA) - Belarus will supply plant, meat and dairy products to Iran, BelTA learned from the press service of the Agriculture and Food Ministry of Belarus.
Belarusian Agriculture and Food Minister Igor Brylo met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Belarus Saeed Yari. "The parties discussed trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Iran in the field of agriculture and food, including the launch of supplies of Belarusian crop, meat and dairy products, and also animal feed and premixes to Iran, and Iranian supplies of vegetables, fruits, fish and seafood to Belarus. Consideration was also given to other issues of cooperation of mutual interest," the press service said.
In 2021, the trade in agricultural and food products amounted to $10.9 million, which was 22% over 2020.
