MINSK, 22 May (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam and concurrently to Cambodia Vladimir Goshin visited Cambodia on 19-22 May, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Belarusian diplomat took part in the events as part of the Days of Belarusian Culture in Cambodia, and met with senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and the Siem Reap province.

The sides discussed trade and economic, scientific, humanitarian and regional cooperation, the ministerial consultations due in 2017, and the meeting of the intergovernmental Belarusian-Cambodia joint committee for trade and economic cooperation. The sides also considered the ways of increasing the supplies of Belarusian tractors, farm machines, trucks and products of the agricultural industry to the Cambodian market.
