MINSK, 7 January (BelTA) – There are plans to build a transport and logistics center in Grodno Oblast on the border with Poland, BelTA learned from the website of FEZ Grodnoinvest.

SIGICOP Logistics Company-Grodno became the first resident of the free economic zone in 2018. It is the first company with the Chinese capital in FEZ Grodnoinvest. The company plans to build a transport and logistics center in Grodno Oblast on the border with Poland.

The center will provide a wide range of transport and logistics services. The implementation of the project will help increase the volume of traffic between East and West, which will improve the transit attractiveness of Grodno Oblast and will promote the development of strategic partnership within the Belt and Road initiative.

SIGICOP Logistics Company-Grodno was instituted by the Chinese construction and investment corporation Sigicop of Gansu Province.
