MINSK, 18 April (BelTA) – Belarus is showcasing the capacities of its pharmaceutical industry in Japan, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Japan.
The Belarusian embassy in Japan, together with the Healthcare Ministry and the management company of the Belpharmprom Holding Company, is holding presentations of the Belarusian pharmaceutical industry in the cities of Tokyo and Osaka on 15-20 April. Belarusian representatives are in talks with leading Japanese pharmaceutical companies and medical organizations.
“Today the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry has opened its stand at the international pharmaceutical exhibition CPhI Japan 2018. Belarus has displayed the latest developments of the Belpharmprom Holding Company, Borisov Plant of Medical Preparations, Belmedpreparaty, Minskinterkaps, Nativita and VitVar. Belarusian Ambassador to Japan Ruslan Yesin and Deputy Director General of the management company of Belpharmprom Holding Company Viktor Shein took part in the official opening ceremony and held meetings with representatives of Japanese and other foreign countries participating in the exhibition,” the embassy said.
Ahead of the exhibition, the Belarusian delegation visited Osaka, held presentations and talks with Japanese partners. In Tokyo, representatives of the Belarusian pharmaceutical industry got familiar with the activity of the National Cancer Research Center and the Japanese Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association, and also participated in an expanded meeting of Japanese and other foreign pharmaceutical companies.
