MINSK, 1 April (BelTA) – Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikolai Borisevich met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Palestine to Belarus, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps Khalid Ariqat, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties touched upon the most important issues on the Belarusian-Palestinian agenda, including practical steps to boost trade and economic cooperation and interaction between the two countries within international organizations. The parties also discussed the current situation in the Middle East. “An agreement was reached to hold regular meetings to discuss activities of the diplomatic corps accredited in Belarus,” the ministry said.
