MINSK, 7 April (BelTA) - Andrei Grinkevich, Head of the Asia, Australia and Oceania Office of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, paid a visit to Pakistan on 6-7 April during which he held meetings with representatives of federal and regional agencies in the city of Karachi, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Belarusian diplomat met with Senior Minister for Finance and Energy Syed Murad Ali Shah to discuss the development of interregional cooperation between the region and Grodno and Gomel Oblasts. “The parties paid special attention to the possibility of holding regional business forums and the implementation of joint projects,” the ministry said.
Andrei Grinkevich also held a meeting with representatives of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan to talk over the establishment of cooperation with the National Center for Marketing and Price Study of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the sake of promoting bilateral trade between the two countries.
