MINSK, 11 April (BelTA) – Belarus and Pakistan consider setting up joint companies. The matter was discussed at a meeting between Speaker of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko and Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research of Pakistan Sikandar Bosan, BelTA learned from the press service of the House of Representatives.
The parties discussed Belarusian food supplies to Pakistan and imports from Pakistan, the possibilities of setting up joint companies with the prospects of entering third-country markets. “The sides were, first of all, interested in setting up poultry-processing companies, building greenhouses and grain drying plants,” the press service said.
The parties also touched upon the issues of cooperation with scientists and specialists of Pakistan in the field of veterinary and melioration services.
