Belarus, Oman discuss plans to hold first meeting of business committee in 2023

MINSK, 23 March (BelTA) – Abdullah Al Harthy, member of the Board of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Honorary Consul of Belarus in Oman, has met with Aleksandr Golovarev, Head of the International Cooperation and Exhibition Activities Department of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) to discuss the possibility of holding the first meeting of the Belarus-Oman Business Committee in 2023, BelTA learned from the BelCCI.

The parties explored the possibilities for expanding Belarus-Oman cooperation in trade and economy, as well as the most promising avenues of interaction between the BelCCI and the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, including plans to update the cooperation agreement between the two organizations and to establish the Belarus-Oman Business Committee on the basis of the joint business cooperation council that is co-chaired by Abdullah Al Harthy.

In addition, they also discussed the possibility of holding the first meeting of the Belarus-Oman Business Committee in 2023 in Belarus, and also agreed to organize an online business meeting in the near future to discuss cooperation in tourism.
