Belarus, Nigeria to sign agreement on industrial cooperation

MINSK, 22 April (BelTA) -  Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Nigeria Vyacheslav Bril met with Minister of State Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Zubairu Dada on 22 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations. “The participants of the meeting emphasized mutual interest and readiness to establish an intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation and to sign an agreement on industrial cooperation,” the ministry said.

The parties discussed a number of joint activities, namely the third round of ministerial consultations in Minsk, and also the plans to develop legal framework of bilateral relations.

“The minister of state expressed support for the efforts of Belarus to resolve regional conflicts and establish partnerships on an equal and mutually beneficial basis,” the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
