MINSK, 11 January (BelTA) - Belarus’ social and economic development program for 2016-2020 will be widely discussed with experts, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said as he heard out a report of First Vice Premier Vasily Matyushevsky on 11 January, BelTA has learned.
The program was developed in mid 2015. Since then the basic macroeconomic conditions have considerably changed. The document needs updating. The government may involve the National Bank to discuss the program with experts in the near future.
Vasily Matyushevsky told media that the government plans to hold public discussions as well. “We will show the people how we see the year 2016, including risks, threats and our steps to neutralize them,” he noted.
