MINSK, 16 February (BelTA) - Belarus and Nepal have agreed to expand cooperation in the transportation sector, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Transport and Communications Ministry.
First Deputy Transport and Communications Minister Valery Verenich met with Ambassador of Nepal to Russia Milan Raj Tuladhar. This is the first high-level meeting with representatives of Nepal in the history of the Belarusian Transport and Communications Ministry. The Nepalese representatives expressed interest in developing cooperation in road construction, railway and air transportation.
“Personnel training may become another area of cooperation between our states. The Belarusian State University of Transport and the Belarusian State Academy of Aviation are ready to train students from Nepal in transport specialties, including training specialists in the aviation industry,” Valery Verenich said.
