MINSK, 22 November (BelTA) – The ways to set up a plant to assemble BELARUS tractors in Brazil were discussed during the talks at Minsk Tractor Works, BelTA learned from the website of the company.
A Brazilian delegation visited Minsk Tractor Works to get familiar with a new lineup of Belarusian tractors.
“The Minsk plant holds itself to a high standard. We were impressed with the high-technology equipment at the company. It guarantees a high quality of BELARUS tractors,” said members of the Brazilian delegation.
Brazil is an industrial and agrarian country with the biggest economic potential in South America. Soya beans, maize and coffee constitute the basis of the country’s agricultural production. The country's tractor fleet exceeds 1 million vehicles.
“Since Brazil is one of the world’s leading agrarian countries, we believe that BELARUS tractors should be present on our market. We have seen that Belarusian tractors go on par with the world’s best agricultural equipment,” the Brazilian delegation said.
