MINSK, 14 December (BelTA) – The Belarusian tractor manufacturing company MTZ plans to ship some 4,500 tractors to Pakistan in 2022, BelTa learned from the press service of the company after the working visit of MT Director General Vitaly Vovk to Pakistan.
According to the results of negotiations in Karachi, Shanzad Trade Link, the current official dealer of MTZ, undertook to develop sales of BELARUS tractors and spare parts. Plans are in place to sell some 3,000 tractors next year.
According to the press service, this year Shanzad Trade Link has organized sales of MTZ 800 tractors, and has also begun supplying a new modification of MTZ 500 tractors with a power regulator. “The move will help develop regional sales and enter new market segments,” the company stressed.
In Lahore, Vitaly Vovk met with another partner in Pakistan - Fecto Belarus Tractors (Private) Limited, with which he signed a commercial contract for the supply of more than 1,500 tractors BELARUS.
MTZ (Minsk Tractor Works) is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of agricultural machines. MTZ sells to more than 60 states and operates assembly plants in various parts of the world.
