MINSK, 6 June (BelTA) – Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark) is considering the ways to supply its products to Israel, Deputy Head of the MTZ Department for Non-CIS Countries Vadim Protopopov told BelTA at the international expo Belagro 2018.
“Over the past year, the company has been signed contacts with some Latin American countries, so we are going to expand our presence in this market. We are currently looking at the ways to enter the Israeli market. It has very strict environmental requirements and great competition, so this is not going to be easy. However, this year we will do our best to advance to the market and gain a footing there,” said Vadim Protopopov.
The Belagro expo showcases energy-efficient MTZ tractors equipped with the precision farming system: BELARUS-3525 on caterpillar tracks and 450hp BELARUS-4522. Also on display is BELARUS-1221 running on liquefied natural gas. Inviting visitors to the MTZ exposition area is a six-meter tractor-transformer.
