MOSCOW, 30 January (BelTA) - Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Dmitry Krutoi and Minister of the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow Sergey Cheremin held a meeting on 30 January to sign an action plan (roadmap) for cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian capital Moscow for 2024-2026, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission.
Taking part in the talks was also a delegation from Minsk led by Minsk Vice Mayor Nadezhda Lazarevich. The parties praised the level of multifaceted interaction, including between districts and municipalities, as well as the growth of Moscow’s trade with Minsk and Belarus in general.
“Special attention was paid to the preparation of a visit of the mayor of Moscow to Belarus and the Days of Moscow in Minsk. The parties agreed to intensify the elaboration of the program of the visit at the expert level,” the press service noted.
The parties also discussed cooperation in transportation, utilities, healthcare, education, culture and sports. They agreed to deepen cooperation and continue the exchange of experience on the topics of import substitution in rail car manufacturing, digitalization of schools and public services, manufacturing of technical means of social rehabilitation.
“Dmitry Krutoi confirmed the proposals of Belarusian enterprises to localize production facilities in Moscow to make, for example, unmanned aerial vehicles,” the diplomatic mission added.
