MINSK, 4 April (BelTA) – The Belarusian Economy Ministry discussed Finnish experience of developing a smart city, BelTA learned from the ministry.
On 3 April, First Deputy Economy Minister Alexander Chervyakov held a meeting with a delegation of Finnish experts who presented their expertise and knowledge of creating a smart city by the example of Tampere, Finland’s third largest city. Attending the meeting were also Belarus' Deputy Communications and Informatization Minister Anna Ryabova and senior officials of the Economy Ministry and the Communications and Informatization Ministry.
“The participants of the meeting discussed the way Finland’s expertise and knowledge can be used to develop a smart city concept for Orsha District,” press service informed.
