MINSK, 4 January (BelTA) – Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ trademark) has delivered a batch of dump trucks to Russia’s Altai Territory, BelTA learned from the press service of the enterprise.
Altai Territory Governor Viktor Tomenko distributed 21 MAZ dump trucks among twenty districts of the region. “The machines will be used to perform various operations, including delivering coal to boiler houses and removing snow in winter,” the press service said.
Minsk Automobile Plant is one of Belarus’ largest engineering enterprises. It specializes in the production of heavy-duty vehicles, special-purpose equipment, buses, trolleybuses and trailers. Its products comply with Euro-3, 4, 5 and 6 environmental standards. The product line-up exceeds 500 models and 3,000 modifications.
