MINSK, 9 March (BelTA) – Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ trademark) has hosted Nguyen Quang Hung, Chairman of the Board of Participants of the Automotive Industry joint venture to assemble MAZ equipment in Vietnam (formerly MAZ Asia), BelTA learned from the press service of the enterprise.
The parties reviewed progress to implement the agreements reached during the December visit of Belarus’ Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko to Vietnam.
They also discussed the supply of vehicle kits from Minsk Automobile Plant to the Asian enterprise.
Minsk Automobile Plant is one of Belarus’ largest engineering enterprises. It specializes in the production of heavy-duty vehicles, special-purpose equipment, buses, trolleybuses and trailers. Its products comply with Euro-3, 4, 5 and 6 environmental standards. The product line-up exceeds 500 models and 3,000 modifications.
