MINSK, 26 November (BelTA) - The organization of supplies of goods and services was discussed during a meeting between Belarusian Ambassador to Vietnam and concurrently to Laos Vladimir Goshin and Deputy Prime Minister, Finance Minister Somdy Douangdy during the ambassador’s working visit to Laos, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Vietnam.
The parties addressed a wide range of the Belarusian-Lao relations, including political dialogue, bilateral cooperation in trade, economy, industry, science and banking. Among other issues was the organization of export of Belarusian goods and services to Laos with the financial support of the Development Bank of Belarus,” the embassy said.
Belarusian Ambassador Vladimir Goshin met with Sounthone Xayachack, Head of the External Relations Committee of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, on 25 November to review the status and prospects for enhancing bilateral relations in all areas, including education. The parties noted the need for increased cooperation between public organizations of the two countries. The Ambassador also attended a ceremony to mark the 43rd anniversary of the proclamation of the Lao Peoples' Democratic Republic.
