MINSK, 5 April (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the UAE with concurrent accreditation to Kuwait Roman Golovchenko met with Deputy Director General of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuwait Hamad Al-Omar on 4 April, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
During the meeting Roman Golovchenko and Hamad Al-Omar exchanged opinions about concrete ways of raising Belarus-Kuwait trade, including visits of representatives of the business circles, participation of Belarusian and Kuwaiti businessmen in specialized expos. The sides discussed the current state and prospects of advancing Belarusian-Kuwaiti trade and economic cooperation.
The same day the Belarusian ambassador met with Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for European Countries of Kuwait Walid Al-Khubaizi. The sides discussed the entire range of items on the bilateral agenda, focusing on trade and economic cooperation. The diplomats also talked over an action plan meant to invigorate cooperation in political, trade, economic, and humanitarian affairs in 2017-2018.
The development of the legal base of the bilateral relations and interaction in international organizations were also discussed.
