MINSK, 30 August (BelTA) – Belarus is interested in Germany’s experience in digital economy, Belarusian Ambassador to Germany Denis Sidorenko noted during a meeting with Deputy CEO of the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry Volker Treier, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Germany.
“The sides discussed the organization of joint events to promote Belarus’ investment opportunities, including the flagship Great Stone project, in Germany’s business community. The ambassador also pointed to Belarus’ strong interest in exploring Germany’s experience in the digital transformation of the economy and the Industry 4.0 program,” the embassy remarked.
Ambassador Denis Sidorenko and Volker Treier exchanged views on the current state and prospects of Belarus-Germany economic and investment cooperation. They commended the work of the Representation of the German Economy in Belarus affiliated with the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
