Belarus invited to take active part in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh expos

MINSK, 19 May (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam Vladimir Borovikov held a meeting with the leadership of Vietnam National Trade Fair & Advertising Company Vinexad on 18 May, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Hanoi.

Vietnamese representatives praised Belarus for active participation as a guest of honor in the Vietnam Expo 2022 held in Hanoi on 13-16 April 2022. In their words, the work of the Belarusian delegation at the exposition was widely covered in the Vietnamese media.

During the meeting the parties discussed the prospects of expanding the participation of Belarusian business entities in international exhibitions and trade fairs held by Vinexad in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, which contribute to the development of bilateral trade between Belarus and Vietnam.

On the same day, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee of Lao Cai Province of Vietnam Trinh Xuan Truong took part in the international forum Brest 2022 in the format of a video conference and called for more active use of the potential of trade and economic relations between the regions of Belarus and Vietnam.
