MINSK, 20 June (BelTA) - Belarus was invited to participate in the Chinese-Arab Expo 2017 which will be held in September. Relevant information has been posted on the official website of the Economy Ministry, BelTa has learned.

The proposal came from Wu Yucai, deputy head of the Standing Committee of the Ningxia Autonomous Region of China, during a meeting with Belarusian Deputy Economy Minister Pavel Utyupin.

The head of the delegation of the Ningxia Autonomous Region invited Belarus to participate in the Chinese-Arabic Expo 2017 in September and make a presentation on the industrial park Great Stone,” the statement said.

During the meeting, Pavel Utyupin spoke about the investment opportunities of Belarus and the prospects of cooperation within the framework of the industrial park Great Stone.

Representatives of the Chinese delegation expressed interest in the joint projects as part of the Belt and Road initiative and expressed readiness to develop cooperation in the field of agriculture, in particular, dairy production.
