BAKU, 27 September (BelTA) – Belarus is interested in establishing a joint pharmaceutical enterprise in Azerbaijan and in assisting with training healthcare professionals. These matters were discussed as Belarusian Healthcare Minister Valery Malashko met with Azerbaijani Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev, BelTA has learned.
Shahin Mustafayev underlined that Belarus-Azerbaijan ties successfully advance in economy, trade, and humanitarian affairs.
Shahin Mustafayev also remarked that Azerbaijan pays close attention to the development of the pharmaceutical industry. A special Pirallah industrial park has been established with this in mind where joint ventures are being set up together with Russia and Iran. Belarusian companies can also avail themselves of the opportunities the park offers.
Valery Malashko spearheads the Belarusian delegation during the 23rd Azerbaijan International Healthcare Exhibition, which is scheduled to take place in the Baku Expo Center on 28-30 September. The forum is expected to gather over 100 participants, including companies from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Germany, India, Italy, Iran, China, Lithuania, Poland, and Switzerland.
