MINSK, 6 December (BelTA) - Belarus plans to increase supplies of agricultural machinery to Nicaragua. This matter was discussed during a working visit of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Ecuador Igor Poluyan to Nicaragua, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In Managua, the Belarusian diplomat met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Advisor to the President of Nicaragua on Investment, the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Industry, Development and Trade.
“The parties discussed the ways of intensifying the interstate dialogue at the high and highest levels, bolstering trade, economic and investment ties, increasing the deliveries of Belarusian tractors and other agricultural machinery to Nicaragua, the participation of Belarusian specialists in agricultural mechanization of the country,” the ministry informed.
The parties paid particular attention to the organization of the third session of the Belarusian-Nicaraguan joint commission on trade and economic cooperation in 2017, cooperation in disaster risk management, and the development of the legal framework of the bilateral relations.
