MINSK, 28 August (BelTA) - Enterprises of the Belarusian Industry Ministry are working to organize machinery supplies to Bulawayo Province of Zimbabwe, BelTA learned from the press service of the Industry Ministry.
Minister of State for Bulawayo Province of the Republic of Zimbabwe Judith Mkwanda is paying a working visit to Belarus. The visit has been organized to further expand cooperation and develop new venues of interaction.
The minister and members of the delegation are expected to visit MAZ and MTZ, hold talks with the management of the enterprises. The program also envisages visits to enterprises producing dairy products and medical drugs. “The parties are expected to discuss a wide range of topics of mutual interest - supplies of machinery and equipment for garbage collection and processing, agricultural and passenger vehicles. The parties will exchange views on topical issues of interaction in the context of previously reached agreements, further expansion of practical cooperation,” the press service said.
This year, the Belarusian Industry Ministry and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Zimbabwe have signed a memorandum of cooperation. The document aims to raise the bilateral relations to a higher level, strengthen friendly relations and mutually beneficial ties between the countries.
