MINSK, 17 March (BelTA) – On 16 March Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Aleinik met with a representative of the Indian pharmaceutical company CIPLA Dr. Lalit Chokhani, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties explored the possibilities to expand bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation, including joint projects in pharmaceutics, the supply of raw materials, industrial, scientific and technical equipment for the upgrade of the Belarusian pharmaceutical industry.
“They also reviewed progress to create a research center named after Dr. Yusuf Hamied at the Academpharm state-owned pharmaceutical enterprise,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed.
