MOSCOW, 2 February (BelTA) – Belarus has increased the volumes food supplies to Russia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko said in an interview to the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio on 2 February, BelTA informs.
“In many parameters, especially in the food group, we have increased our supplies, including in milk and cheese. Due to the devaluation of the Russian currency, we have lost a little bit in the monetary terms as our exports are calculated in the US dollars,” the Ambassador said.
According to Igor Petrishenko, Belarus continues increasing food supplies to Russia, including meat products. “A number of Belarusian companies have been refitted and are ready to deliver quality products to Russian consumers,” he said.
