MINSK, 14 January (BelTA) – Belarus and Hungary intend to open a line to make double-decker train cars, BelTA learned from Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto on 14 January.
Peter Szijjarto said: “Within the framework of Belarusian-Hungarian manufacturing cooperation plans have been made to open a line to make railway cars. A total of 19 double-decker trains will be made. It will be done for the first time in history of Hungarian railways. They will be used to deliver passengers to the most popular destinations. The first train will be ready by the end of the year.”
Apart from that, Belarus and Hungary will commission a joint venture in Mogilev soon. It will specialize in corn processing. Interaction in the sphere of nuclear energy also looks promising because both Belarus and Hungary are busy building nuclear power plants.
