BAKU, 7 December (BelTA - Trend) – Belarus’ Grodno Oblast intends to boost trade with Azerbaijan, Chairman of the Grodno City Hall Mechislav Goy said at the Azerbaijan-Belarus business meeting in Baku on 7 December.

"In January-October 2017, the trade turnover between Grodno Oblast and Azerbaijan amounted to $5 million,” he said. “But this figure does not reflect the full potential of our trade relations. I think that we can double and even triple this figure."

The Belarusian delegation headed by Grodno Mayor Mechislav Goy will include representatives of seven Belarusian companies operating in various fields. The meeting has been organized by AZPROMO with the support of the Economy Ministry of Azerbaijan.
