MINSK, 7 November (BelTA) - As of 7 November Belarus harvested 9,332,500 tonnes of grain, including rapeseed, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.

Harvesting of corn kernels is underway in all the regions of the country, with 229,700 hectares of land already cleared. Some 1,904,800 tonnes of corn kernels were threshed, with the yields averaging 82.9 centners per hectare. Some 22,738,400 tonnes of corn for silage were cropped so far.

Belarus has removed 4,345,400 tonnes of sugar beet from 90,300 hectares, with the yields standing at 481.3 centners per hectare.

Belarus has harvested a total of 166,400 tonnes of vegetables from the area of 5,390 hectares.

Some 9,187,700 tonnes of grass was cropped, which is 95% of the target.
