GOMEL, 25 March (BelTA) – Belarusian producer of agricultural machinery Gomselmash signed an agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan to supply 90 Gomselmash and Bryanskselmash grain and forage harvesters to Bashkortostan. The agreement was signed at the AgroComplex 2022 exhibition, BelTA learned from the official Telegram channel of the holding company.
Agricultural producers of Bashkortostan will be offered subsidies to purchase these machines. Subsidies are part of the state program “Promotion of agriculture and regulation of markets for agricultural products, raw materials and food in the Republic of Bashkortostan”.
The company added that Bashkortostan is one of Russia’s largest agricultural regions. Last year, Bashkortostan farmers gathered a good harvest. The purchase of new machinery is seen as a way to increase the region’s agricultural performance.
The international exhibition AgroComplex 2022 and the agro-industrial forum are held in Ufa on 22-25 March. Gomselmash is one of the exhibitors.
