MINSK, 7 August (BelTA) – According to the preliminary data, Belarus' international reserve assets totaled the equivalent of $7,973.5 million as of 1 August 2023, BelTA learned from the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus.
The country’s gold and foreign currency reserves went up by $182 million (or 2.3%) in July 2023 after shrinking by $80.6 million (1.02%) in June 2023.
The central bank said: “Since August 2022 information about the volume of the international reserve assets has been published on the official website of the National Bank without breaking down their structure and without mentioning the factors that influenced their change.”
