MINSK, 25 November (BelTA) – Belarus and Germany are outlining ways to intensify industrial cooperation, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA following the meeting of Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei with CEO of the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations Rainer Lindner on 25 November.
The meeting highlighted the issues of economic cooperation between Belarus and Germany. “The parties exchanged their opinions on the possible ways to intensify cooperation between the two countries in the field of trade, investment and industrial cooperation,” the press service said.
The sides reached an agreement to hold a number of specific economic events, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs added.
Rainer Lindner came to Belarus as a head of the German business delegation. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Belarus Peter Dettmar also took part in the meeting at the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
