MINSK, 16 November (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Michael Harms, Executive Director of Germany’s Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations, to discuss ways to step up the cooperation between the two countries, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties discussed prospects for bolstering the trade and investment cooperation between Belarus and Germany, and also plans related to further advancement of the collaboration with the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations,” the press service said.
Minsk is hosting the ninth Day of German Economy on 16 November. The event has been organized by the German-Belarusian Economic Club and the Representative Office of German Economy in Belarus under the patronage of the German Embassy in Minsk. The theme of the forum is “Professional workforce in Belarus: state, potential, and cooperation”.
