MINSK, 30 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian-French interregional business forum will take place in Minsk on 30 November–1 December, BelTA learned from the official website of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The event will mark the 40th anniversary of establishing twinning relations between Minsk and Lyon. The business forum has been organized following the agreements reached at the second meeting of the joint Belarusian-French commission on economic cooperation in Paris on 26 May.
It is expected that partaking in the forum will be nearly 50 French businessmen seeking cooperation with Belarus in industry, agriculture, energy, tourism and other areas. The business forum will provide Belarusian companies with an opportunity to present their proposals on stepping up trade and investment cooperation and hold bilateral meetings with potential business partners from France.
The program of the forum will also include a number of cultural, education and gastronomic events.
The event has been organized by the Belarusian embassy in France and the Minsk City Hall.
