MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) – Belarus and France will enhance cooperation in transport and environmental protection. The issue was on the agenda of the meeting between Ambassador of Belarus to France Pavel Latushko and Assistant Director for International Affairs at the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development, Transport and Housing of France Herve Boisguillaume, BelTA learned from the embassy.
“Special attention was drawn to the results and implementation of agreements reached during the session of the joint Belarus-France commission for economic cooperation in transport, energy sector and environmental protection. Pavel Latushko and Herve Boisguillaume discussed the approaches of the sides to the signing of interagency agreements in transport and environmental protection,” according to the embassy.
The sides focused on the prospects of organizing meetings and negotiations between representatives of ministries of the two countries who are in charge of transport and ecological issues.
They also reached an agreement on the mutual participation in transport expos which will take place in the two countries, the exchange of experts in the field in 2015.
