MINSK, 7 April (BelTA) - Belarus has increased food exports at the start of 2022, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said at the Security Council meeting on 7 April, BelTA has learned.
“The volume of agricultural output stood almost the same as at the start of 2021. As for the food industry, the growth made up 4.2%. In January-February 2022 Belarus exported more than $1 billion of food, 117% compared with the same stretch a year ago,” said Roman Golovchenko.
According to the prime minister, the domestic market is fully supplied with food products.
