MINSK, 7 December (BelTA) – In January-October 2021 Belarus’ export of food products and agricultural raw materials rose by 14.1% and totaled about $5.4 billion, BelTA learned from the Telegram channel of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.
"Belarus supplied food to 106 countries in January-October. Export to the CIS countries, including the Russian Federation, increased by 10.4%, to Asia and Oceania - by 33.4%, the EU - by 41.4%, the Americas and the Caribbean - by 56.5%, Africa - by 9.7%. Belarus’ food export to the People's Republic of China surged by 32.9%. In general, deliveries to non-CIS countries went up by 38.3% year-on-year," the Agriculture and Food Ministry said.
Export of milk and dairy increased by 8.9%, that of beef - by 16.5%, sausages - by 34%, fish and fish products - by 25.2%, eggs - by 35.8%, potatoes - by 57%, rapeseed oil - by 79.3%.
