MINSK, 22 February (BelTA) – Belarus has floated eurobonds worth $600 million, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Finance Ministry.
“The pricing was held on 21 February. Belarus floated eurobonds to the total of $600 million with the interest rate of 6.2% for 12 years. More information will be provided once the deal is finalized,” the press service said.
Belarus started a roadshow for eurobonds in the United States and Europe on 15 February. Citi and Raiffeisen Bank International AG have been selected as managers, with the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus to be a co-manager.
In 2017 Belarus floated eurobonds to the tune of $1.4 billion. The eurobonds were floated in two tranches with the interest rate of 7.125% and 7.625% respectively.
