MINSK, 6 November (BelTA) – The official opening ceremony of the Belarusian national exposition at the first China International Import Expo will take place at the Shanghai Exhibition Center on 6 November, BelTA learned from the National Center for Marketing of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The national stand will include the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone, the National Agency of Investment and Privatization, the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Industry Ministry, the Belarusian Potash Company, Belkommunmash, the State Science and Technology Committee, and the Education Ministry. The Belarusian stand will also display the country’s tourism potential. The official delegation comprised representatives of various ministries and departments.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the exposition will be head of the Belarusian delegation, Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration Nikolai Snopkov and guest of honor on China’s behalf, Gansu Province Governor Tang Renjian. Belarusian and Chinese official delegations are expected to hold talks.

The National Exposition Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus is the organizer of the Belarusian national exposition at the first Chinese International Import Expo.

The official opening of the China International Import Expo was held on 5 November. Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.
