MINSK, 13 April (BelTA) – Belarus is interested in working together with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) for the sake of improving professional skills of small and medium private companies, BelTA learned from representatives of the Belarusian Economy Ministry after the second session of the working group on arranging a collegial expert evaluation in Belarus with a view to improving professional skills of private SMEs via entrepreneurship support services.
During the session a group of OECD experts presented preliminary results of a poll of small and medium companies based on the OECD-developed questionnaire.
Members of the working group were also made familiar with the OECD’s preliminary recommendations concerning the improvement of entrepreneurship services infrastructure in Belarus.
Experts from OECD member states were invited to participate in the session. They shared the best practices used by the international community to provide entrepreneurship support services.
The next session of the working group will be held in June 2016.
