MINSK, 22 October (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Turkey Viktor Rybak visited the city of Izmir on 22 October, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
The ambassador met with Izmir Mayor Tunc Soyer and Izmir Province Governor Yavuz Selim Kosger. The sides discussed promising avenues of advancement of trade, economic, investment, scientific, technical, and cultural cooperation between Belarus and Izmir from the regional point of view.
The ambassador also met with Chairman of the Izmir Chamber of Industry Ender Yorgancilar. A presentation of Belarus’ trade and economic potential took place. Viktor Rybak presented trade offers of Belarusian commercial entities, which are interested in exporting their products to Turkey and in advancing cooperation with the Turkish private sector.
As a result of the meetings agreements were reached on building up on the established contacts and on searching for new business partners.
