Belarus’ delegation to take stock of Belarusian construction projects in Ashgabat

MINSK, 25 January (BelTA) – Belarus’ government delegation led by Vice Premier Anatoly Kalinin is expected to inspect the ongoing Belarusian construction projects in Ashgabat during a working visit to Turkmenistan on 25-28 January, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Turkmenistan.

The visit aims to take stock of the progress made in the projects to build the Garlyk mining and processing factory, the center of Belarusian equipment and a set of buildings for the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Ashgabat. The Belarusian delegation is also expected to discuss the expansion of bilateral cooperation.

Members of the Belarusian delegation are set to hold high-level talks, including meetings with representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Turkmenhimiya State Concern, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

The Belarusian delegation has also comprised Costruction and Architecture Minister Anatoly Chorny, Deputy Chairman of Belneftekhim Concern Igor Bobyr, Director General of Belaruskali Ivan Golovatyi, other representatives of Belarusian agencies.
