MINSK, 24 November (BelTA) – Minsk is playing host to a regular round of the Belarusian-Czech consultations on a protocol to the investment protection agreement on 24-25 November, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told a briefing for the press.
The parties are set to discuss the key provisions of the protocol and finalize the text. This document should bring the agreement into line with the relevant legal framework of the Eurasian Economic Union and the European Union,” Dmitry Mironchik said.
He noted that in Belarus there are 193 enterprises with Czech participation and 16 offices of Czech companies.
In 2015 the Czech investments in Belarusian economy made up $46.3 million. In H1 2016 they reached already $ 39.6 million.
